Im a little disapointed with this OC, I was really hoping with this kind of extreme cooling, that I could have got a higher OC, but 3.15Ghz is the most the CPU will do. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=28156 I was hoping for 3.2+ for a goal, but ol'well, life goes on....

Ah well better luck next time. Was that a .09 FX55?

Wow, 3.15 is pretty impressive for an FX-55. Most people can't get it to POST over 3.0. I wouldn't be disappointed at all.

Have you tried increasing the multiplier rather than the FSB? How much voltage are you putting in to it? At a FSB of 286Mhz, you are running over your DDR550's rated speed. It may be your memory holding you back.

Ya i know. I've lowered the FSB to 270 and upped the multi to 12x, and it wont post.

In most cases with a64 cpus, higher FSB & lower multiplier will yield better perf than visa-versa.
