Once the 6600LE hits the streets I plan on building a low end/high performance game machine but need to know if I can stick with a mATX setup, which I prefer, or have to get a full size board.

The albatron board is a skinny board :) Not necessarily mATX...

Yes that it, Albatron K8SLI (http://www.albatron.com.tw/english/it/mb/specification.asp?pro_id=190#) is indeed mATX board, it measured 293x198mm, that are fit within mATX spec of 244x244mm. K8SLI is slimmer but wider because of dual PCI Express x16 slots for SLi, I remember saw the news weeks ago with the pictures of the board bare fit into a mATX case. :)

The K8SLI measures 12.0" 9.6" which is a bit larger than mATX 9.6" 9.6".

I dunno if mATX + SLI is a good idea. Two graphics cards can really put out the heat. I'd recommend getting a full ATX case or keeping with mATX and getting a single 6800 (best choice IMO).
