This thread should probably be in the Hardware Rumors section.
Do you have sources for these pics, or are they yours??? =D
Thats a crazy cooling system on it.
Edit: That was a quick move! Lets speculate!
With a cooling solution like that, it must have some incredible clocks. Tell us more!

It's the newest Quadro, and this has already been covered.
now that i look at it what is that 20 pin black plug right next to the sli pins used for? ...
It's the newest Quadro, and this has already been covered. but if this is a quadro why such a heavy heat sink fan with a two slot cooling ?
If that is a 7800 Ultra then 600mhz core seems do-able. Hopefully they will use 1.4ns memory and run it at 1.4 or 1.45 which should help more than the higher core clock.

ok :o

Not sure, all I know is that it's been said to be the next Quadro - I forget which thread it was that they mentioned it in, try looking at the G71 thread or the 77.76 thread, I think it's detailed in there.

i think it won't be a quadro card, usually quadro ones are even slower about clocks.

Well I found the link that thoroughly explains the pictures but of course it's giving me an error. Anyway, it basically states very clearly that what we are looking at is the Quadro FX4500 and nothing more. Its clocks are 430 core, 525 (1050) RAM, and it's a PCI Express part with 512 MB of RAM. I'll post the link but it may not work.

It's a quadro, that little black connector gives it away, it's only present on quadro's, and no, it will never be featured on a regular desktop card, the thing it connects to is a genlock/framelock card(a feature that serves no purpose for the home user), and the only price i've found on this card was 1000 pounds with VAT

but why a so huge thing for a board with same/lower clocks?
g70 runs so nice at 430 that could even work without the stock cooler :D
It's a quadro, that little black connector gives it away, it's only present on quadro's, i just saw yesterday a production dual 6600 gt with that very same connector ...
This is an end user graphics card. Quadro is used for CAD, DCC, and scientific pourposes. I would seriously doubt any one would need a two slotted cooler. Every design aspect of the card, expecialy the over elaborate cooler is more marketing tactics that apeal to Computer Enthusiasts rather than what is nessasary for CAD, DCC or other non gaming purposes.
These are tha cards manufactures use to design CGI for product models (CAD) or computer graphics sequences (shuch as special efects in movies). These cards are not intended for gaming. The pictuer of the 7800 ultra is that of a gamer's card, not a developer's card.
wow thats a great point .... hmmm

Could you perhaps provide a link?

Most, if not all all NV40 based quadros(QuadroFX4400) have 2 slot coolers
And as I said, the only price for a daughterboard which connects to that connector that I found was over 1000 pounds($~1700), how is that focusing on computer enthusiasts?
Here is a dual slot quadro:

Its already been revealed multiple times that the card in question is indeed a next gen quadro.
Could you perhaps provide a link? no sorry i saw it in person
I I hope the 7800 Ultra looks like that. :drooling:

Other than the fact that it looks like a more efficient cooler than the version on the 7800gtx, the design on this mystery card looks very much form follows function.

wow if that is indeed the next quadro im going to have to pick that up heh. the Serious cooling solution is curious though. Which makes me wonder if its clocked higher or not. Are there any official specs for that quadro?
