Hi peeps,
Through the post, straight from Fremont to the U of K I got through, (finally) my copy of XP 64 bit edition. Great I thought, having recently changed my ISP to an ADSL provider for 8mb goodness I then realised that there isn't a single ADSL modem on the market which has driver support..hmmm.... so then I began to look at the alternatives. My Ethernet card actually has support for XP 64 , only problem being that's no good because all ADSL providers in the UK use PPPoA and not PPPoE, so I figured that maybe a Router / ADSL combo would do the trick, but then I hear reports that the D-Link 504 doesn't work due to a driver issue!!
Is there anybody out there that is using the PPPoA protocol for ADSL in xp 64 that has a work around for this because I submitted my product key for my old XP Home to get this PoS!!!
Any help appreciated.
