Guys,

I'm running in 420/1140 MHz rock stable with a nice performance!! 75.500 on Aquamark3. But as I am doing the first day of tests in the card, I wanna know if there is any problem to run it on 1.3 volts (default).

In my ex-MSI 6800GT I had edited the BIOS, and set the voltage from 1.3 to 1.4 volts in both 2D & 3D.

Now the Leadtek is doing fine with these clocks, but I imagine that it's running with 1.3v. Is there any problem with that? If I should keep the clocks, it's better to edit the BIOS and set to 1.4v?

I'm also very happy because I'm not getting the 5-sec. stuttering not even at these speeds!

Thanks a lot!

If it's fine at those overclocks leave it at 1.3, i wouldn't muck around with voltages unless you have problems

What are you saying the default voltage on a Leadtek 6800GT is?

AFAIK, it's 1.3 on all 6800GTs. That's the standard spec anyway.

I have Leadtek 6800GT, been running 1.4V from day one with stock cooling. approx 5 months now. With 1.4V it gives me better numbers in performance. Overclock remains the same but I guess it might overclock higher if I resort to other means of cooling which I couldn't be bothered.

Thanks guys!!

I'm having a great performance, 5800 on 3DMark2005, running Battlefield2 smoothly, everything fine. I stressed the computer a lot since yesterday and it's perfectly stable.

I guess I'll stick at 1.3v. I've been reading some bad cases with Leadteks, so I don't want to mess up with the BIOS! It is very nice for me this way!

Sandeep, what clocks are u using? Your temps?

I'm getting 56C on iddle and 78C on full load, at around 25C ambient...

You've got a great core if it runs 100% stable 420MHz @ 1.3v. A standard 6800 Ultra runs slower but uses more voltage! (400Mhz @ 1.4v)

I'd leave it at 1.3v unless you plan on going higher with the core speed.

Yeah... this LeadTek A400GTTDH is going fine without raising the voltage. In the stock 1.3v the MOSTER is pretty solid, no crash, no BSOD, no artifacts. I intend to keep it that way because of cases, RMAs, etc... I don't want to tost my card! 420/1140 is very fine!

See the screenshot. Everytime I left some 3D application like a game, the core clock goes back to 350 for a little while, and then returns to 420. This looks normal, no problem, but there is anyway to change that without editing the BIOS?

Thanks!

Nice. Is the FW enabled? My core does 391/1100 with FW enabled.

Temp. 51 degrees idle.

3DMAKR05 with 5555 @ 401/1102

FW disabled. AGP Aperture Size = 512 MB

Using 77.72 drivers. I'm thinking about testing the 77.76.

Post results latter...

My Specs:

AMD 64 3500+ @ 2.4Ghz 220*11
MSI Neo 2
Leadtek 6800GT @ 1.4V FW enabled rock stable at 391/1100. With Cold winter, I have done 401/1102 FW enabled again.
550 Antec True Power.

1.4v for 391/1100? That is not healthy...

Why not??

My experience with FastWrites isnít good. Since the times of my Radeon 9500PRO I used to turn it off. Some games do a little stuttering with it ON, like TOCA Race Driver 2. To be honest, I not even tested my 6800 series with the FW ON. Some people tell performance gains, some tells losses, but I think quality and smoothness count more than 3 fps more.

What do you guys think?
