Yep looks like Fisher wont go away !
Today the first details from the next game in the Splinter Series have been revealed. According to rumors, there will be a PS2 edition available, but no PS3 version. SC4 is situated in 2007 and will take you to various places such as Madrid, Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, New York and Berlin. There are quite a few new features added to the new title, such as the requirement for Sam Fisher to find food and eat on longer missions, exercising to stay in shape, using a raft in certain missions, and although no specifics were disclosed, co-op mode will return (thanks JeuxFrance). While this info is to be taken with a grain of salt, Splinter Cell 4 is expected on all platforms in March 2006.

Hmm, that's interesting. I'm surprised they're making both an Xbox and Xbox 360 version of the game, I didn't expect companies to make many games that were on both platforms. I doubt the graphics would be much different aside from higher resolution and antialiasing, but considering how amazing Splinter Cell 3 looked, that might not be such a bad thing. Although maybe they'll add some HDR to the Xbox 360 version along with the PC version. Wonder if they'll bump up the spy vs. merc multiplayer up to the new engine...

looks like the PS3 is out of the game.
And the Revolution ;)

Didn't SCCT take place in 2008?

I'll just quote what I said on Rag3D....

I'd like the two Co-Op maps that were supposed to be out last June before I hear SC4 news. How can it possibly take a dev team so long to make two Co-Op maps? Do they just have one guy working on them? One intern, who before this was just used as a coffee boy?

Yeah pretty poor trailer, didn't really give any impression of the game.
