What is the difference between a GF2 Ti200 and a GF4 Ti4200?

Other than "Geforce" and "Ti" just about everything. :p

The most important thing you need to know is that the Geforce 2 Ti is a DirectX 7 part where the Geforce 4 Ti is a DirectX 8 part. DirectX 8 allowed for programable shaders which create the 95% of the effects you see in todays games.

Is it a Geforce *2* Ti or a Geforce 3 Ti 200? Either way, the Geforce 4 ti 4200 will be a lot faster.

Sad part is none of them will work with Battlefield 2 :(
