All you NF3 Ultra users, can you guys give me the boards you're using, what makes them great and why you like them? People keep giving me suggestions...I thought that the Epox 9NDA3+ board was the one for me, but after reading some reviews about SATA ports being placed in bad places, not being able to OC with SATA enabled and other things, I'm not quite so sure anymore.

So, what other Socket 939 NF3 Ultra boards are out there and worth using? I'd like to know before noon CST so I can order today. :)

Thanks!

The Neo2 has SATA ports in the most idiotic places imaginable. SATA 3/4 are way back by the video card towards the backplane. That one left me scratching my head. Also NF3 boards (at least ones I've seen) have the CPU socket placed closer to the AGP slot than I like.

What does that new DFI look like? I read somewhere here that they have a NF3 AGP board out?

*EDIT* Oh well it's only skt754. Lame.

Yeah, I think Banko mentioned their board earlier but it's 754 only. Lame. Who the hell even USES that?

I love my Neo2, Its nice and stable. The only thing I dislike about it is that SATA1/2 do not have locks so I can only use SATA3/4 if im overclocked.

...is it ok to pair the neo2 to a 6800? are there incompatibility issues?

He wants 939 NF3 and apparently the DFI is a piece of trash.

What about the Gigabyte GA-K8NS?

It's utter crap in my experience. High failure rates, CPU fan issues, and awful warranty support. I say this from 2 of those boards my friend got. Both computers are now using the Epox 9NDA3+ instead ;)

My vote for Epox NF3 Ultra boards :afro:

Side note: I wish Asus made an NF3 Ultra board. I don't understand why they don't, my Asus NF3 250GB board is excellent

Well, what's the difference between the 250GB and Ultra NF3?

My motherboard is S754 and therefore NF3 250GB. S939 uses the NF3 Ultra ;)

well done on the epox. i have hated gigabyte ever since i found out that their gig-nics are TIED TO THE PCI BUS and they ran the 10/100 nic through the nforce chip.
