View Full Version : Digital LCD and booting...

Anyone ever experience this? I have a GeForce 6800 with analog and digital outputs. I have my LCD connected by DVI. If I boot my computer without turning my monitor on, it never sends any output through the DVI port, my monitor finds no source, and I have to restart. I have to turn my monitor on before my computer, and that works every time. Anyone know of a way to route video output through DVI permanently?

I havent, but was looking to get a lcd with dvi for my bfg 6800. Would be interested to see if it will be solved in the next driver release, otherwise it may get annoying.
Oh, and why cant you just turn on the monitor first instead of the pc?

I do......it's just that with my CRT, i used to turn on the computer, and leave for a few min to do something else, without turning on the monitor....it's just an old habit...........
