While charging $100 more. That's what I hate about Asus video cards, they're far too expsensive for what you get.

LOLzz thats weird, i can do 489/1.31+ with their standard one with no probs at all, runs rock solid, but i just keep it on 485/1.30 to keep temps lower.

with their dual slot, they should be hitting even more unless they havent increased the voltage from default.

my temps : 46 C Load : 72 C

The premium on Asus video cards is ridiculous. Only their motherboard division is a real winner.

XFX are much better alternative, Extreme Edition 490MHz cost $10 more than standard 450MHz.

Well I run my stock evga at 490/1.3 no probs, it's even stable at 500/1.4 as long as the game isn't Doom 3.

Burnt_Ram, where do you buy your hardware in Canada? I can't find a cheap place period. And where ever I go, the Asus cards are always most expensive. Generally though, they come with the biggest bundle, so if you're into that type of stuff, it makes sense. Personally, an eVGA t-shirt and stickers were enough of a "bundle" for me. ;)

Well they do provide 3yr warranties world wide... eVGA is still 1yr in Australia and they old +1 policy doesn't apply to Aussies. XFX is 1yr too in OZ.

I went with BFG for lifetime warranty heh

only applies to USA/Canada i think ? i.e. eVGA had 1+1 yr policy but that only applied to USA and not Australia as well.
