Nforce4: booting from an USB key ?

I tried to boot a Linux distro ( Feather Linux ) installed on an USB key on my NForce2 and Nforce4 motherboards but I can't even if I selected the 1st booting device as an USB-zip. On the other hand I can boot if the key is on my mother's computer using a VIA chipset.
So I suspect the problem is BIOS dependent.
Is it a known fact with Nforce mobos ? , or do I miss something.

I'll give it a try tonight when I'm home.
But obviously, that link confirms what I thought: my problem is BIOS related.
