If you have a Pentium [MMX,II,III,IV] or Athlon, you need to use the IA32 drivers (1.0-4191). If you're unsure of what CPU you have, then you should use the IA32 drivers.

The AMD64 drivers (1.0-4180) are intended for machines running AMD's x86-64 chips (codename Hammer), and not Athlons.

The IA64 drivers (1.0-4050) are only intended to be used on machines running Itanium or Itanium II processors.

I hope this helps alleviate some of the confusion... if you're still not sure, please reply and ask!

Just to add, from what I've seen the upcomming AMD 64 cpu's will be called: Athlon 64 (Claw hammer and to replace Athlon XP) and Opteron for the high end servers (aka Sledgehammer).

Andy: As a suggestion, can you post this information on NVIDIA's download page so people will know what to download?
