hey I'm looking at getting wireless headphones with surround capablity. From what I've heard so far the only good ones are the 5100 and 8000 models of the sony dolby digital ones. The acoustic research ones, which are much cheaper "aren't quality sound and don't sound very surround.. " does anyone have wireless headphones with dolby surround?

I've owned wireless headphones and quite honestly they suck. I realize they're probably convenient for you but you always run the risk of losing the signal and having an overall reduction in sound quality. Get yourself a good wired set with an extension cable if you have to but don't buy wireless.

what kind did you own? becuase I hear the sony ones, though expensive are good, I can't wear wireless its for when I'm riding on my traner, the wire would be a tad dangerous...

Look into Sennheiser. Sorry the U.S. site wasn't working when I posted this but it might be up by the time you get this post.
Not sure how much you want to spend but if you want top quality headphones then check this company out.
