I'm pretty sure the countdown gets its time from your clock rather than the time they're actually releasing it at: E.G. - my countdown ended at midnight NZ time - 10 and a half hours ago. I doubt we'll see the announcement until midnight EST. Just at a guess.

The counter on www.nvdia.com still has 8 hours 22 minutes left for me
Who knows. Maybe it will be a paper launch to the power of 3...

Power of 3 is not a new product.
If this is the stuff (http://surveys.nvidia.com/pow3/profiles.jsp) it's all about, you're quite right
features : "Vote For Your Favorite Power Of 3 Character"
three guest stars
> SHADER MODEL 3 = "Nalu"
> HDR = "Luna"
> SLI = "Dawn & Dusk"
wait...
power of 3...
didn't nvidia announced SLI for labtops ? what happened to that?
or maybe power of 3 is
7600,7800GT,7800 ultra :P or
Dual-core GPU! :P
or even maybe its the 7200,7800GT,7600 :P remember nvidia is waiting for ATI before it will release its ultra :P!

Sorry Jakup. Reread the thread and you and Chris pretty much summed it up several days ago. Can't believe I sat here and watched that counter thinkin' something great was gonna happen. It's not like I stayed up for just that though, somebody has got to run this thing.

Power of 3 is solved. okay. But when you surf around shops etc and read their promotion pages we still need the launch of the 7800 GT card and for that we also need a supporting driver.
It will most likely be 77.77 as the folders are already on the FTP, but bloody hell its like 12 hours overdue for me since the countdown has ended. and the countdown on european major retailers has ended as well.
When are we going to get some info on the card and the driver?
SLI = "Dawn & Dusk" dawn and dusk!! ..... please oh please tell me this is a demo of the two of them making out. :drooling:

Yeah, that was the first thing I though as well...
However, it doesn't seem that Nvidia is going releasing a new demo about the fairy twins. Such a shame. :thumbdwn:

Except the PureVideo on the 6800s is kinda sketchy, isn't? I know it's working on the 6600s, though.
