Man, Awsome Demo. It does contain parts that were in the E3 Demo we played this year but it has some more. The AI has been tweaked even more it seems, they wont be lured to you anymore and its playing pretty smooth for me at max settings with 2xAA/2xAF. Sucks that it has no native widescreen support though.

EDIT: The game seems to also be sensitive to my OC on my videocard, even at 415/1100 the game still produces artifacts on player models. Could it be a driver issue? I didn't get such an issue in the MP Beta.

My first impressions is that this game is going to kick ass!!!
The AI is the best I've seen in a while, graphics are amazing!
No support for 1280x1024 only 1280x960.
I played it with everything maxed out, except soft shadows, 2xAA and 4xAF.

Demo is short, but amazing!

The AI is very good in this game. They knock over objects to get in your way, and jump in/out of windows, its great.

Probably one of the best demos i've played in a long while!

anyway to override 1280x1024?

I didnt like it...might just be the mood i'm in. Then again, I tried playing it @ 1280x960 4xaa 16xaf and got 16 fps in alot of parts....think i'll go back and try to play it like I own a 6800gt instead of like I own a jakup system =)

WOW jesus....That demo scared me like i little child :( At the end of the demo where you are slide down a long ladder and then there is that little girl...damn i jumped like 10 feet. And just when you get down the ladder there is a ghost...omg. HEART ATTACK. And o' boy this game rocks on my 7800GTX, even with soft shadows. I love this game.

Sick demo. At 1024x768, my system cries. Its fun, just not my type. I dont like the controls and the movements. It seems like DOOM3 and HL2 mixed together

Btw. right at the beginning of the demo where you meet the first enemy with the back to you. Try going slowmo and then slide kick him. OMG! - I almost came on my screen there :p

Also almost in the middle of the demo, you get a chance to shoot a guy standing on a high ramp. When you kill him, he may fall over the edge and if he do....pay attention to the sound when he hits the ground :p KLONK! when the helmet slams into the ground.

I love it when you pin the enemies down they shout out "What should I do now?!" and how they keep in touch by shouting "Everyone check in" and you hear the other respond. Best AI ever!

Creeping to that door at the end... I think I followed through :(

Gonna play it again now... this time with a bit more gamma though :|

Man I didn't know you could slide kick! Gotta try that! Woo getting to play it again with new stuff rocks :D and that railgun is awesome in slow mo! When I got someone in the shoulder, he flew about 50 ft back while still shooting randomly in the air, WOW that rocked!! :D

This game i soooo fun. When you get to the yard and the helicopter drops some more men i thought i was really clever and camped behind the windows....but ohhh no. FIRE IN THE HOLE! And i got a grenade right in my face :p

Ohh and i just opped the res to 1280*960 with FSAA x4 and all other settings to max. Games still runs great with no lag. Would guess about 50-60 FPS.

Hell yeah!!
I thought it was cool, when you get to the stairs and there are two guards in a room with glass ahead of you. I tried to shoot one, but missed and one guards ran out through the door to get me, and the other jumped out the window!

Crappy demo and way too short :/ The gfx are nice, but even with my 6800GT the framerates were half 80+ and half in the 30s (using the auto-config thing, which incidentally set most stuff to maximum hehe). My main quip is the horrible HDD usage; Every time I entered a new corridor I had to wait 2 seconds for it to load, seeing the HDD usage light (like with BF2). I guess 1gb ram aint quite enough anymore these days. Among the things i liked were the same ones i saw in the (much better performing) multiplayer demo - The parallax mapped holes in walls, the slomo, and the melee. Cool game, but it's overhyped galore IMO. Peace,

I had no HD Thrashing at all, Heck if I died the game reloaded my save almost instantly.

I'm so sick of games not supporting widescreen resolutions right out of the box (or right off FilePlanet in this case...)

That being said, this was definately an impressive demo. I played the betas and I was very disappointed with both the graphics and the gameplay. However, the single player aspect looks like it should be a real winner. Definately a new take on the whole FPS genre; this is what Doom 3 should have been. Plenty of action, VERY smart AI, and while I wouldn't say I was scared I definately let out an audible "oh crap" towards the end.

My only complaint is the bullet time. The graphical effect it gives is definately cool but even in this short demo I got the impression that the game would basically force you to use this feature in every firefight (like the Max Payne series.) I was ready to write this one off as another game overhyped game when I played the MP Beta but this demo has me really looking forward to its release (as jAkUp stated many times...) Definately recommended.

Pretty awesome and I think I could play the whole game with only the pistol, best time I ever had with one. Ran it maxed out and loved every second. They really put up a fight and I still havent past those three who are also able to slow-mo.

I honestly didn't have to use the slowmo at all, I was never forced to play it and I was playing at High Difficulty. I just had to take my time and think the fire fights out. Like the part when your going down the stairs and the guards are in the room, just wait acouple seconds and they are told to go on patrol, two will head towards the stairs, cap them right off and then slowly try to pick the other two off that are waiting for you.

Heck I even tried to slowmo rush the room and ended up getting owned by a gernade...

Yea, you dont have to use slowmo. But i love to be a "ninja" and slowmo kick the bad guys and see them fly into a window :p *mmmmm* this game is pure love.

When playing the game I honestly got the feeling that they put the slomo feature in just to help out the people that can't maintain a steady framerate in combat. I'm sure I was dipping into the high teens during the more intense firefights so maybe that's why I was having some trouble. Or maybe I was just expecting a Doom 3-esque experience...
