$449 in the U.S.A, which is waaaaay too pricey for a 20-pipe card if you ask me, especially when pricewatch can find a 7800gtx for about $45 more.

Doesnt make sense to me, to charge $450 for something alot less powerful...I was hoping AT LEAST $399 @ launch.

we both know the 7800gtx didnt launch at 495, but at 600. so the price on the GT might go down just as quickly.

450€ sounds great to me seeing as the GTX goes for no less than 585€ over here. I paid 470€ in november 04 for my 6800GT if i remember correctly, so actually that would be less than a GT, which makes me a little suspicious.

You're being overcharged man. You should search for cheaper stores. And MSI usually has a higher price tag and it's never better than the others, I hate MSI. Overhere in Portugal, in one of the cheapest stores the 7800GTXs are ranging between 489€ and 525€.

$450 MSRP is not bad for a 7800GT if the price drops in 1 or 2 months to 350€.
