Anyone know what device is used to take screenshots of consoles? I would love to be able to take screenshots of some PS2 titles or even some old school Saturn/PSX.

The quality on it for consoles is horrible, My father has it for his job (private investigator) and it only works good on his camera.

To get better quality you'd probably have to buy an expensive ($200+) semi-pro device.

Well the reason the Dazzle boxes don't look that great for game shots is because they only capture at 480i. You need something that captures at 480p minimum through component video inputs, 720p even better for use with XBOX360/PS3.

Well of course progressive scan is better, saddly I can't take any 720p shots off my projector.

i.e. this one does both 480p and 720p. Only $1000 :)

This one does 480p for $200 (I think) as it has component inputs, though they could be 480i component - not really sure would have to contact manufacturer\

console games should start doing this now that we will have more support for memory sticks, usb and hard drives. kinda like gt4 does, but in real time gameplay.

Another option is to buy a card with VIVO (I think the 7800GTX have this) and DVI input, then use a VGA -> DVI adapter for xbox360 or HDMI -> DVI adapter for PS3 (though this won't help with current consoles that use component only for progressive and hence would need an expensive transcoder).
