One of the Zalman 7000 series would probably be good, I haven't ever dealt with any Zalman products, but that should do really good for you

7000 series is a good HSF. The 7700cu would be preferred if it can fit. If not the 7000cu is still a great performer.

I have had both the 7000b cu and the thermalright xp 120. the thermalright works considerably better if you're into overclocking.

Thermalright XP-120!!! Nothing else touches it.
xp 120 for sure.
but zalman is a great cheeper alternative. especially 7700cu.

Anyone have any feedback (personal experiences maybe?) for the Freezer64 (http://www.arctic-cooling.com/cpu2.php?idx=10&disc=)?

XP 120 and panaflo fan. If won't fit on your Mobo try the smaller XP 90.
For my FX57 that is soon to be here, I got Phase Change cooling for it..... On the other note, I have an XP120 on my FX55, and it kicks ass.....
thermalright for life...
get an xp-120, it wont steer you wrong. i love my xp-90. id get a panasonic panaflo fan for it too (if they come in 120mm, cant remember). theyre quiet cool very well.

Panaflo does come in 120mm models. There are two actually, one that is a bit quieter and pushes less air and another that runs louder but pushes over 100CFM I believe.

:D
Using the 7700-Cu for my ClawHammer 4000+ which tends to run so hot & its doing pretty good job. so i would recommend it for the FX-57 if theres enough space on your mobo.
XP 120 and panaflo fan. If won't fit on your Mobo try the smaller XP 90.
his board is just like mine except with a heatpipe cooler on the motherboard. the xp-120 fits just fine see:
