Issues Resolved in Version 77.77
This following are changes made and issues resolved since driver version 77.76:
GeForce 7800 GTX, SLI: Using Half-Life 2ʹs screen capture function
causes the screen to jitter within the game.
The problem would disappear if you reloaded the save point or changed
video settings to cause a video restart.
GeForce 7800 GTX, SLI : Using the built-in screenshot function of
third party applications may cause errors.
This was seen in FRAPS and Hypersnap.
GeForce 7800 GTX, SLI : SLI AA does not work with Half-Life 2

I don't remember seeing 7800 GT supported in the previous version of 77.77.

*edit - oops just looked and it was supported then too. Looks like the same drivers only WHQL. At least we get 3d stereo drivers with them :)

well the builds are easy enough to keep the same without recompiling, and the nvdisp.inf can just be modified in the cvs (or however they manage the drivers over there)

08-11-05, 08:35 AM
They have the same date as the non-WHQL drivers: 7/20/2005

hehe tigerdirect.com is selling the evga 6800gt for $269.99 :P, which is waycheaper than what newegg is selling them for and the 7800gt is going for $399 :P

08-11-05, 05:15 PM
I added the coolbits tweak and noticed something new. Under the SLI rendering modes for at least a 7800 gtx, there is a AFR 2. As in I would guess version two. What is this?

jAkUP: You using a stock cooler?

Yes, stock eVGA cooler. I havent touched it.

what is that Triple buffer option for?
i just saw it when i was looking at the advance options!
i tried to turn it on and started playing Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory and didn't see any different and my FPS was the same!

08-11-05, 06:18 PM
Triple buffer is for use with openGL apps (i.e. Call of Duty, Doom3, Medal of Honor, etc.) when vsync is on. Otherwise keep triple buffer off.
