Was checking the BFG web site and they made 2 announcements seems they will be offering both 7800GTX and 7800GT with preinstalled waterblocks and clocked higher

Nice. Be even nicer if they had some pics though.

Keep meaning to invest in a decent water cooling setup actually, especially if/when I get a second 7800 GTX.

Woah. $100 more for each version with the water-block. I mean I guess thats pretty good since it comes with a pretty beefy overclock and is still warranted. Still, a VGA waterblock is something like $30-50 when I've been shopping around.

My BFG 7800GTX OC's easily to 488/1340 with the fan. Those are the values which Coolbits autodetected as "optimal." Temps hardly go above 70C during BF2 sessions at 1280x960 all settings high/4xAA

Im sure i could push it further but I dont think i need to.

Uh why not just get a maze 4 gpu block and use that instead of the crappy BFG block?

i think it's just BFG watercooled ones retain warranty intact :)
