Thanks for starting this thread, Mark and another big thank you for pointing us NVIDIOTS to these drivers.

You folks know the drill, download, test and provide feedback.

Creative Europe sure is fast. A *lot* faster than Gainward, who's still at 29.80 :D

They fast alright - but screen a bit un-adjusted

but they fast - checked with a few game benches , Earth & Beyond and UT2k3 got 5-10 more FPS in UT2k3 and about 500k polygons per second more in E&B

UPDATE from Mark Fox: Farge spotted in the 41.80 .zip file that a file called "modes.txt" says: Version 42.00, 12/10/2002 - so could this be the next version to come out? Time will tell...

3DMark-wise these sucked for me.

Went from 7466 to 7125, so a loss of over 300 points on a GeForce3 Ti 200 (AMD Athlon XP 1700+, 512MB DDR).

They're fast, good, good, we have more mirrors now...

How are drivers though?

On the 98se side of things, the screen was a bit too far to the left for me on the default install, but the benched about 50 onions higher for me. (Not a lot, but I'll take what I can get! ;) )

The IQ is good, and games seem better/smoother/faster for me...but I haven't had a lot of time to play with them yet.

Getting ready to install the XP set in a little bit, I got a new toy in the mail that I'm installing at the same time and it's sort of tricky... ;)

I was over 300 points slower in 3dMark. I am going to read a few posts on these drivers, before I decide whether to continue using them.
41.09 are great for me.

I was thinking that 3dmark is not optimized for DX9. That might explain the slightly lower score. 300 points is not really a great big deal in 3dmark

Well I gained 240 points in 3dMark(Most of them I lost going to Dx9) So im ok so far with them, Gained a few FPS in games UT2003 about 5-8 FPS

Tribes2 Runs smoother with less frame rate drop when alot is going on.

Jedi Outcast gained about the same FPS as UT2003.

Elder Scrolls is much smoother.

SS , Q3, Army ops, and older games are about the same.

I heard people saying that DX9 and those drivers should be installed togheter - meaning that they work best with DX9 , I think that games with high use of pixel and vertex shaders benefit the most
