Jesus, some of that **** looks really creepy. Looks to be a very nice game, but reminded me some of Halo 1 and 2. (Not a bad thing)

Skip to 20 mins in the video to get alle the nice Q and A. Should be no spoilers from there only Q and A.

Yeah, I'm not a big Quake diehard so I watched the whole thing, but if you're been anticipating a sequel to the SP campaign from Quake II for the past eight years you'll want to go right ahead to the Q&A. ;)

well curiousity got the better of me - hehe

anyways - it looks supurb, production level is way up there - very very cinematc and a great intro. (also very gory and intense, hard hitting suff)

cant wait for more now - hope its out in 2005.??

Will this run decently on a 6800gt? =/ Some of that stuff looks quite demanding.

should run fine - as they keep saying if D3 runs good then Q4 will run good. obviously it wont run quiet as fast but it be playable at roughly the same settings.

Maybe kick it down to 2x FSAA from 4x. :D

I can do 1280x1024 4xaa/8xaf in doom 3 (ultra settings) I'll gladly take 1280x1024 no aa/af ...as long as I can keep a good resolution, i'll be happy. It's just...man, some of that stuff looked quite breathtaking, and seeing as it's an xbox360 title, I started worrying that maybe a 7800GTX would be needed.

is this the same single player video that shows a few seconds of combat outside?

If by a few seconds you mean multiple minutes, then yes. ;)

Well, apparently it's supposed to definitely be out before Christmas. It's in beta stage, which means it's pretty much all done and they're just testing and polishing a few things. :)

no its different to the official trailor with a few seconds shown outside - this is 15 minutes continuous gameplay - some of which is outside.

I don't much care for the trenches part, but it's very short. The rest is incredible, besides the actual quality of the movie.

I absolutely love the lumbering *spoiler* mechs *end spoiler :p*, and that *spoiler* mechnospider *end spoiler* at the end is utterly fantastic.

A day one purchase, period.

I'm downloading it now. That's a HUGE video file!!!

I just ordered a 6800GT not that long ago. Glad I did. I doubt my 5950U would be up to this (D@MN YOU ASUS!!!).
