I haven't put anything up for the show in several months, so let me make it up for you dear fellows with a demo that combines several effect rather than the usual one single room/shader.
It's no farcry but it should look and run decent on your GF6800/7800 :)

Use the aqwsed keys to navigate into the scene and drag your mouse on the screen to look around.
Press H to toggle the GUI menu and F8 to capture a screenshot

Grab it here (http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nature_scene.html)

Hey thats pretty cool. I read through the white paper but could you elabourate on the specifics of the transparency antialiasing. Is this just a technique for developers to use on alpha textures with heavy overdraw due to the loss of detail?

Thanks for the demo. After reading Clay's review I checked to see if it was available. :)

Nice work Abba Zabba! When viewing the grass from a distance you really see the dramatic difference TAA can make.

TAA works on 6800 cards? Seems to be working on mines.

I'll get back to you later on this one, I'm kinda busy right now :)

TMAA has been in OpenGL for quite sometime now
PS: M stands for multisampling :)

The main difference I see when running it on the 6800U versus the 7800 is the framerate. Other than that, it looks great on both.

7800 TAA...................6800U TAA................7800 No TAA..............6800U No TAA

thanks for the demo abba!

I am suprised. I just have a 6800 GT and the Transparency AA works! It makes a HUGHE difference. Is there any way to enable it via riva tuner in the 6800 cards?

wait a sec, is this another one of your homemade demos abba? they're showing up on nvidia's site now? wow, you've really moved up in this world. congratz.

Here you go, plenty of info for you to read (http://download.nvidia.com/developer/SDK/Individual_Samples/DEMOS/Direct3D9/src/AntiAliasingWithTransparency/docs/AntiAliasingWithTransparency.pdf)

Keep in mind this is Multisampling AA, it's been exposed in OpenGL for quite sometime now. I believe Humus wrote a tool to force that feature in most applications, check out this webpage for further details.

Well I've been working at NVIDIA for a while now so it's no longer homemade :D

I forgot to mention that you can change quite a few settings in the inifile in the data directory :)
You can even setup a benchmark, :p

I think he hardcoded that application to 6x MSAA, atleast it didnt work on my 6800GT..
Also you cant use it with online games since it will most likely be picked up as a Hack of sort since it hooks into the either D3d or OGL somehow.

But there isnt any other way to "force" this on? and not a whole lot of games seems to use it "nativly" so to speak..
