ok well im new here and i just bought a chaintech geforce 6800 agp and i was wondering if anyone could help me with ocing it and how to thanks alot

You should really search the forum before making such a post. Download coolbits, the rest you can find from other threads.

I really miss saturnotaku's pic about overclocking.

you could use RivaTuner to overclock your card,you can go to www.guru3d.com and find both RT and coolbits and other ultilities for overclocking and all the drivers for the card.

i dled the coolbits and it said something about the registry i clicked yes but how do i use it now?

you just need to doulble click on the coolbit icon and it will ask you if you want to add that to your registry and click yes, then go to your desktop and right click and go to the properties and click on settings and then advance and then to the 6800 tab and you should have a place that has your clock settings and then just slowly up the hertz on the core and memory untill it shows artifacts or locks up and then back it down 5 to 10hz where it is stable and watch your tempertures so they don't go to high.

ok thanks evryone the i got it to go to 375/829 coolbits seemed a lil easier
