There is a little icon in my Start Menu that does all that for me, automatically.

Yeah but its not as fun as downloading them from somewhere that is ummm... Not Microsoft. This way is almost as fun as hacking the Gibson!

For those of you that don't know, nlite (http://www.nliteos.com/nlite.html) is a useful utility for slipstreaming these hotfixes into your windows installation files. I use it to make a more updated version of my Windows XP CD.

I use AutoPatcher personally, I just posted the above for anyone with the minerals to try it. :p

I read on the AutoPatcher forums that you couldnt slipstream hotfixes, only service packs ? Is nlite the real deal then ?

Yes, it's the real deal.
Been slipstreaming the hotfixes with nLite for quite a while now.

thread title is a little misleading. there have been so called unofficial versions of SP3 floating around for a while now but they are all just bs.
