Just received my ACS3 kits from EVGA. I paid just over 69.00 for 2 202-F1-EV46-01 plush shipping for my 2 EVGA 7800GTX cards.

Just finished upgrading my case when these where delivered, so I have not had a chance to do any testing with the new coolers installed. Hopefully by the end of the weekend.

Damn I'd love to get 2 silver ones :\. Hopefully newegg or someone will sell those cooling kits aswell because evga's prices are a bit of rip offs usually. By the way it fits all 7800GTXs right?

Yes, it should fit all 7800GTX's

Wait for the NV Silencer Rev 3 (oct 17th), the fan is much bigger and will cool better. Until then the fan mod method sticks. I cant really see the ACS doing more than a few degress better than stock...

Still doesn't look like its gonna fit on Non-SLI boards in SLI mode :(

What temps are you getting with ACS3 and what are your clocks?
I'll start it:
490/1300
Idle:47
Load:69 (love those load temps)

Load:69 (love those load temps)

Thats just nuts... I pulled off the cover and stuck a stock AMD64 Cooler fan on the heatsink and my load temps never break 60 now.

What did you really gain with ACS3, 5 degrees at load maybe?

OK after installing both ACS3s, the temps are as follows

Stock coolers stock clocks
No load
card 1 64 Card 2 67
Under load
Card 1 80 Card 2 98

New ACS3 stock clocks
No load
card 1 44 card 2 48
Under load
card 1 63 card 2 79

No load conditions, nothing running just NV control panel
Load conditions are 30 minutes of rthdribl while monitoring temps via NV control panel

I am impressed so far. Have not tried OC card yet, will post more #s shortly

Thanks Auswak,

My only complaint, is the instructions should have more images. The one that really got me looking, "Place the plastic washers on all three corners". #3 is not a corner ;)

More images of the dismantle and installation will be up shortly. Also notice the empty memory slots next to the populated ones. This goes for both sides. Looks like the PCB is ready for 512M versions :D
