My Vantec Aeroflow is on its deathbed. I need a reasonably priced Socket A cooler ($30 or less preferrably) that will keep my 2500+ @ 2.2GHz around 50C load. I might just get an Aeroflow 2. Keep in mind that Zalman's entire product line is incompatible with my Abit NF7-S 2.0.

Thanks fellas.

Thermaltake Silent Boost. It runs my 2500+ overclocked to 2.2ghz nice and cool. 32C idle. 40 load.

I have the Thermalright SLK-900A and it kept my 2600+ OCed to 2.2GHz around 55 load, but I just had a crappy generic 2400RPM 80mm fan on it...it supports up to 92mm.

This one looks like a decent hold over. Reviews were pretty good.

I don't trust Thermaltake at all. I used to have the Volcano 11+ and it was a piece of crap. I had to run the fan at 5400RPM constantly just to get my idle temps down to 47C. That HSF was so loud and so crappy that I don't think I'll ever use another of their products again.

Well it turns out the SI-97A doesn't have a backplate or anything that requires me to remove my motherboard. I must have been thinking of something else. Now if only I could justify $45 for one and a nice Panaflo 92mm fan.
