View Full Version : Need gtx bios with cold bug fix.........

Hey everyone

Just got 2 xfx extreme edition gtx's 490/1300. Thay are running so hot its untrue.
The problem is with my aircon on they drop down to 34c and 32c temps which is causing the cold bug issue to occur. Carnt find an xfx gtx bios higher than mine, does any one know what revision bios has the cold bug issue resolved. Im not happy running cards at 78c under load , and they exhauts the hot air straight over my nf4 chipset............... :mad:

Im running 77.77 but i thought the fix was at bios level.......... :confused:

Do you want to try the eVGA GTX KO BIOS? The clocks are the same and I believe the cold bug is taken care of.

The later drivers fixed it for some people but I've seen at least a couple of people say that they still had it even when using the later drivers.

Ive looked at the that bios and it seems to be older than the bios already running on the cards......... :(
