Maybe new drivers soon?Yup. Last time it only took like a day or two for them to actually put something in the folder. The drivers will be here any time now. It seems NV has thrown the 6 month "schedule"(?) out the window. They release drivers pretty quickly now.

Rollo, over on Anandtech forums has the 78.03 drivers, he has an inside source at nV, and says they fixed the shimmering (look in video forum)

78.03 also fixed the global application profile bug. (but so did the 78.01's)

I hope they fixed the MPEG-2 hardware acceleration problems (on FX cards at least).

You thought someone would stay at work until midnight just to release some drivers that fix a bug that they can't even hype?

what's wrong with that? i'd expect them to work their asses off for this. they're finally fixing problems that people have complained about for months.

for me personally, if this driver does everything that it promises to it'll decide wether i ever buy nvidia again.

So I'm guessing they'll stick 78.01 on the official download page since it's WHQL and the 78.03 beta will be on nzone.
