that pic should show the upcoming GF6500

it will use NV44 at 400Mhz with 700Mhz (64bit?) ram

i want a 6700 .. :P

Even in the low-end arena NVidia and Ati play a catchup game with clock frequencies.

Anyway, since it will find its way into cheap ass boards with 64 bit buses, it would be better to avoid it like the plague

yeah, low end is a great place for value cards but 64-bit cards serve no purpose

What's worse is that many vendors (including famous brands) use very slow memory modules for the entry level.

Last week I just encountered probably the lamest fx5200 ever made. Core runs at 275MHz but it uses 7.5ns DDRs (for those who don't want to do the math it's 133MHz x2) on a 64 bit bus. The guy owning it was 'somehow' concerned about its poor performance with games like Far Cry and Doom 3

That is the 6500TC. Its just an overclocked version of the 6200TC. Based on the overclocking results from my 6200TC review, it should be a good step up.

The Turbocache architecture is unique. It shares memory bandwidth with the PCI-Express bus to give a lot more theoretical bandwidth than a normal 64bit card.

I would expect this 6500TC's performance to be in line with the X550.
