Hi all!

My brother-in-law has an ATI Rage 128 GL (32MB AGP) with TV-OUT, running WinXP Prof. Anyway, we have spent two days trying to

get the TV-OUT to work without success. On ATI's site the latest driver is dated Oct. 2001 and it seems there isn't anyone

new. Also, in that same page, ATI claims that WinXP built-in driver works good and that it has TV-OUT capabilities. We tried

that, but didn't see any TV-OUT tab or something like that. How is TV-OUT activated using WinXP built-in driver?
So far, we have resorted to ATI's latest driver for this card 6.13.2379 if memory doesn't fail me, which has a TV-OUT tab

indeed, but it appears grayed-out now. Of course we have checked all cables and connections. Was working two days ago. What

gives?

Your connection needs to be available at the time or else it will be grayed out. The cables need to be plugged in at both sides.

Post this at Rage3D, you'll get a better repsonse.

I have that card, and I've had no problems with TV out, just be sure the cables are in when you try to enable it. And turn the TV on.

Thanks for the quick reply, ATI LoVeR 9700. Yes, I'm sure we are omitting something because it was working two days ago. Will recheck everything and try out what you suggest.
