Hehe, at least I get to wear jeans, a t-shirt and my favorite Chevy baseball cap to work today. :D

Now, let's all take bets on how many people are going to create individual threads annoucing the release of these drivers. I say between this particular subforum and the GF 6 and 7 series one there will be at least 3.

The link works, you just have to manually copy it and edit the first part off (ie. disclaimer).

Installed them, Im getting about the same performance with these as with the 77.77s.
in CSS VST anyway, IQ seems pretty good, no complaints so far

Just tried morrowind, the worst game I have for this and there is no shimmer at all. Im very pleased with these.

Over at futuremark they say cs:s has improved dramaticaly as well. Its not gone compleatly but has improved alot.

I cant test this as It only runs in a window for me.

The profile bug is still present as well.
For instance, setting AA in a profile also sets that AA level in the "global settings".

WOOOOOW!! JUST WOW I'm just blown away.

Apparently all the flashing and shimmering I was seeing was just Nvidia's terrible image quality - nothing has been fixed in FarCry or the other games I saw this flashing in. What a waste - these drivers didn't fix anything I saw as "SHIMMERING". So now that we know that Nvidias IQ just flat out sux (or their engineers and beta testers are legally blind), the only thing left to do is sell this POS and wait for the MIA R520. Great generation of cards this time around ATI and NV have successfully launched the 'Missing' and the 'Shimmering'. Bravo guys, bravo!

These drivers didn't fix anything for me. :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:
