Hey all,

I am getting a GeForce 6800 Ultra but I was thinking which is better?!

BFG GeForce 6800 Ultra OC or eVGA GeForce 6800 Ultra?

Thanks all :)

Yea, Actually I'm talking about AGP here!!

But doesn't eVGA offer lifetime warranty as well?!

Yes, eVGA now offers a lifetime warranty.

Then if Both BFG and eVGA offer LifeTime Warranty ... Does this mean that they are equal or does it still mean that the OC BFG is better?!

I have had the evga card for since last june and haven't had one problem with it yet. I plan to go with evga early next year when I switch to pci format. You can't go wrong with either card.

2 months ago I would of said BFG because of lifetime warranty.

Today, I say EVGA because of the awesome customer support, and lifetime warranty. Go evga ;)

Ok, eVGA:2 - BFG:1 ... eVGA is winning right now!!

BUT, what can I understand regarding the out of the box OC?! Does it matter much?! I mean I don't really OC my cards much ... so if I get an already OC card .. would that make a real difference cause the difference in the core clock is only 25!! (eVGA:400 - BFG:425) Does these 25 make much of a difference?!

Thanks all for those replies :)

Naw, it doesnt make a huge difference... if I'm remembering correctly, on the 6800 Ultra its the memory speed which makes a bigger difference.

Ok, does the heatsink that eVGA sell fit on the BFG card?! or Does it only fit on the eVGA card?!

It should fit fine on either... the reference design is the same :)

The EVGA 6800 Ultra shipped at 425MHz Core after initial release.

I have had my EVGA 6800ultra for a while now and have not had any problems and it comes shipped with 425/1100 for the 2D and 3D and it has a life time warranty now witch pisses me off because my does not and they havd great support.

eVGA. Loved my 6800GT. Friend has the 6800GT OC (for PCI express), it hits 100 C at times. Mine never went above 88 C full load and overclocked to Ultra spec.

I have eVGA also and I am very pleased with my card. My card shipped with 450/1200 :)
