and on a TFT? (those HDTV's are still too expensive imho...)

i'm not sure what res the x360 is going to be outputting at but it depends on how good scaled images look on your lcd monitor. i think they're going to be outputting at 1280x720. if your lcd native res is 1280x1024 i'd say it would look good. it's only going to need to scale 320 pixels which most likely won't be noticeable at all.

Should work just fine on almost any monitor.

With the 360's VGA adapter, you'll be able to enjoy all of your games in high-def on your monitor.

I read in one of the interviews that 1024x768 is supported, too.

Thanks for the replys everyone.

I found a full pic of the vga cable and i was woundering what connections were on the back of the xbox 360.

I didnt expect the 5 connections on the left of the pic to be on the back of the console.

That sucks, from that picture it doesnt look like I will be able to use S-Video with the VGA adapter. Cheap and now useless for me. :(

The VGA Adapter is straight from the Monitor to Console cable, the two extra cables included are for sound. You would not need an S-Video cable for using it on a PC Monitor, heck it would basically be lower quality aswell.

S-Video cable is the one above the VGA cable (middle one) if you can't tell.

I should have said Toslink then. I much prefer it for sound especially DTS and Dolby over rca red and white conections. I plan on useing a Logitech Z-5500's with the 360 and not haveing a Toslink will be pain atleast for me so I will most likely wait for those dudes that made the VGA box for the XBox that had a Toslink connection.

The VGA cable DOES have a digital optical toslink connection. Its on the base (the end that connects into the Xbox 360 itself) of ALL the official Xbox 360 cables.

You will be able to use your Z-5500's perfectly (with in game DD 5.1) with the Xbox 360.
