I thought the Winamp team had been disbanded a long time ago and the product was pretty much dead...this is cool. It's good to know they're still trucking. While it may be a bit of a system resource hog, Winamp is still my favorite player by a long shot.

I remember reading on the winamp forums that the old team did disband, but that team only did up the 2x series. I think some new peeps must of took it all on board.

While it may be a bit of a system resource hog, Winamp is still my favorite player by a long shot.

One of the reasons I use it is because it hogs the least resources of any player I have seen, and it starts playing instantly. Then again, I install it without modern skin support (which uses up more resources.)

Ahhh...yeah, I use the modern skins. But it is fast, I really like the library functionality and how searching works.

I think Foobar2000 only takes up like 5MB of resources though, but it's a barebones POS if you ask me.

And I thought something happened with AOL not too long ago and it killed the current team.
