hello,
I'm curently living in residence of my university
and the only way for us to connect to internet is using wireless network :P

i have a wireless adapter for my windows which works fine except my other computer ( which has a linux OS) doesn't have internet and it doesn't support the adapter!

is there any way i could share the internet between the two system!

i have a router :P and i have the two system in the same LAN!

and i also want to know if there is a way i could forward the input and output ports in windows!

There is internet sharing in Windows XP, but not sure if that would work nicely with your campus internet, and with Linux.

I would just skip the hassle and buy another wireless adapter for your Linux box.

Not sure if this is what you wanna do, but you could try bridging the wireless adapter and the NIC. That way they will work as one and you can share the internet beween both machines.

To do it just select both connections in Control Panel > Network Connections
Right click and select bridge

If you have problems like I did bridging a Wireless adapter checkout this guide

heh heres a very simple solution for you, the ndiswrapper(http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/) it loads any winblows networking driver in Linux. Its kina like wine for networking drivers. It works great but you can only do basic things(connect with or without encryption and scan to see if theres a network no network cracking). I used it when I first got my Centrino laptop and there were no Linux drivers for it yet.
