RedHat 8.0 problems. Module NVIDIA

during kernal part install of the driver i got -

modprobe: Can't locate module nvidia

Failed to install nvidia.0
sciptlet failed. Exit status 1

Im not a linux guru, so im kind of lost now since i was following instructions in the readme file.

Help?

Ok small Update

tried editing the XFConfig file and then starting X, here is what it gives me:

NVIDIA0:Failed to initialize Nvidia kernel module
NVIDIA0: Aborting
EE: Screens found but none of them have usable configuration

Fatal server error:
NO SCREENS FOUND





So, any ideas before i go reinstalling RH8 ?

I'm running RH8.0 with out a problem.. And I compile my own drivers. (Especially since there's been around 4 kernel updates. Which means the drivers on the Nvidia website will not longer work with the updated kernel.)
