The Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps! the 16th race of the season at one of the tougest tracks in F1. :D

Pizzonia replaces Heidfled for the second consecutive race:http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/news_story.asp?id=135530

rain and inclement weather may be the big story this weekend at Spa. the second practice session was all but cancelled when the Liuzzi (Red Bull) crashed heavily in as a result of the heavy downpour. no other team decided to risk it, as discretion is the better part of valour. Kimi was fastest in practice (i hope he doesn't blow an engine) while Alonso posted no time, saving his engine: http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/formula_one/news_story.asp?ID=135718&hubName=auto_racing-formula_one

the drivers are concerned of the safety factor if they have to drive a wet race. it should be interesting if it does rain, as it will separate the men from the pussies. however, if the rain is as bad as it was in today's practice, they may actually have to cancel the race, again tarnishing the image of F1: http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/news_story.asp?id=135734

Michelin to supply fewer teams next season. then, the year after, they will be booted out of the sport: http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/news_story.asp?id=135521

Fisichella may have to change an engine and be penalized 10 spots, whilst JPM got away with an engine change since he didn't particpate in the practice session and was due to receive a new engine for the race: http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=34006 and: http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=34003

rain at Spa for the GP2 race, which had to be suspended, as there were a lot of accidents. it will be interesting to see what happens to the F1 cars.

Minardi bought by Red Bull. does this mean that American Scott Speed will be racing next year in F1? http://www.tsn.ca/auto_racing/formula_one/news_story.asp?ID=135865&hubName=auto_racing-formula_one

Schumie was really pissed. Sato's in F1 because he's Japanese and Honda wants him. hopefully, he'll be out of the sport next year, because he truly does suck and has shown it again this race.

what an enjoyable race. Kimi wins, followed by Alonso and Button who had a good race. JPM was knocked out of the race by Pizzonia, but the coverage was poor and didn't show who was at fault (however, JPM should get the blame, just because he's an idiot). Webber in 4th, Rubens in 5th, and JV, mister 1-stopper, narrowly beat Ralf for the 6th position with a photo finish. JV had a good weekend, as he started in 14th, 6 spots behind Massa, and finished 4 spots ahead of him. good for Monteiro in the Jordan, who finished 8th.

Sato and Pizzonia will be punished for their accidents, with Sato being forced to start 10 spots back of his next qualifying position in Brazil. http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=34037

Alosno thanks McLaren for helping him into 2nd, but maybe he should throw some Kudos Pizzonia's way while he's being so generous: http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=34039

Pizzonia to blame, according to Dennis: http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=34034

in two weeks, the Brazilian Grand Prix! :D
