I have this gateway lc pc thats the model it says in the back when i go to gateway.com, and put the serial # in it says its a 500 se kind.
What i want to do is install windows xp pro on this machine do u think i can do that or install windows 2000?
It has a amd 500 chip in it and i forgot how much ram it had but i put in a pc133 256 ram stick in the and the bios/ windows me only sees 186mb ram.
What can i do to find out if xp or 2000 will work.
