Now that is a man. Constrast what the president is doing compared to what the govenor of LA and the mayor of NO did. Bush takes responsibility even though the federal government did its job. While the local officails pointed the finger at someone else, namely Bush.
This is a perfect case study on how liberals blame everyone else and conservatives take responsibility.
Grow up liberals, and pay attention. You could learn a lot from the president about what it means to be an adult.

The left has demanded Bush admit he made mistakes in his administration for the last 5 years especially just before the 2004 elections. Now he takes responsibility for others poor actions and now the left moves the goal posts and says this is all political.

Doesn't your hypocracy on this issue show that your earlier calls were indeed political? I think so but then again you are a liberal so you wont be able to touch this. What you will do is bring up something some other conservative said or did in order to deflect the conversation you lost to a new one. All you did was use his religious beliefs and personal events against him in a way that was off-topic and had nothing to do with the discussion. Aside from being extremely cowardly and distasteful, it was a clear "ad-hominem" and added nothing to your point. Wait, what was your point again?

I have one questoin skoprowski, how am I religiously intolerant? I dislike liberal ideaology. If that is a religion then yes I would be intolerant but most liberals are secularists so how can I be intolerant of other religions.

As for generalizations............I see you as using religion to fill a big void in your life. I have witnessed it countless times- especially in times of nasty divorce. Religion is for guidance not obscession. God gave us a life to live- it is too bad you spend more time trying to figure out how to live it according to a book as opposed to just living it. I am convinced if Jesus would come back he would definately be a liberal. He showed compassion and love to those who were outcasts in Bibilical times and I'm ceratin he would show the same compassion to those who you conservatives now despise.

If he would have said there were some issues that have to be looked into the day after Katrina, then I would have applauded him. This should not have been done after more than 2 weeks after the disaster. He just looks like he's picking up the pieces now.

You may not be one of "these people" or not but there are a lot out there that would be complaining if he hadn't done it, late or not. They'd be sitting here saying "Well?!? Still no admission of responsibility?".
AFAIK he is the only one who has come out with any admission of responsibility. Where has the mayor and the governor been in this regard?

He just looks like he's picking up the pieces now.I think it took at least a few days before it became apparent things weren't coming together as fast as they seem like they should have. I think it's important to note here that none of us are experts on logistics or handling a situation like this. We are busy faulting and complaining but who is to say it would've been any different had we personally been in charge or if there had been a different set of people working on this problem. Maybe it would've been better, maybe not.

If he "looks so bad", how come democrats' popularity is in the toilet? He must be doing something right.
