View Full Version : 3DMark05 Test 2 runs extremely bad.

I tried benching my system today and was suprised to find out that the second test in 3DMark05 crawls... not even actually more like a slide show. The first test flies, it runs as smooth as ever.

I did a fresh driver install and that didn't do anything. All games I have tested also run smooth. Im stumped... anyone got any idea's?

Um no its not... I averaged 25FPS in my original bench. It would be normal if it was during the CPU test but not under the GPU Test.

With my system and using SLI, I average 35.8 on the 2nd game test.

Mine does not set any records at 23.4 and my Intel rig does less at 20.9 FPS in FireFly, both with the 7800GTX.

I wasn't too impressed w/the way it ran as a whole on my system but my score was actually a little above what it should be so I can't complain.

Have you tried lowering your overclock to make sure that isn't causing a problem when running the 2nd game test? It seems to be more taxing.

Yeah, Thats the first thing I tried, its strange that this is the only thing I have seen an issue with.

Jakup, thats not even an option right now... too many vital things on my PC that are related to work.
