I've been searching for the answer, but I can't find anything. What would be faster?

500MHz, 2-2-2-6, 2T Timings
500MHz, 3-4-4-8, 1T Timings

I thought that in a game the difference between 1t and 2t is very small... 1-2fps

And I thought I read somewhere it was between 10 and 20%

EDIT: and wasn't there a big study a while back that showed CAS didn't matter pretty much at all for Athlons but were a huge deal to P4s? Or do I have that backwards?

1T and 2T are the only things that affect performance on my system.

Ok guys, I did some super in depth reading, and I actually discovered that 4x512 at CL2 2T timings is a tad faster than the 1T 1gb sticks. I was very suprised..

Look for AN501_Latency_Settings_and_Performance.pdf on the corsair site.

Sorry lost the link.

jAk, I just looked at the picture of your case and we have the exact same case, except for the color.

The first one. 2T costs about 3% but so do CAS latency and CAS to RAS, each.

I'd go with the 500MHz, 3-4-4-8, 1T Timings
