I was browsing and I came upon this, anyone care to try?

Thanks. Downloading now.
Same here but I think I'll wait for your impressions. :)
So far *not* so good. The 78.03 were faster on my system, at least in VST. Both seemed to have the same IQ.
VST: 1024x768 w/ 8xAF - High Quality in CP
78.03
47fps
81.26
45fps
I'm not quite ready to switch back yet. I'll try a few other games. If anything odd shows up I'll be sure and post it.

Okay installed on a 6800gt SLI rig - they solved a problem I had with the 78.xx control panel where it would lock up but I can't seem to overlock with this set at all now.
There's a shader problem with water in BF2 + 2xaa. WoW has problems popping back onto the desktop [edit] well I guess it's fixed - I couldn't alt+tab out of WoW for a while but guess I had to wait until all the textures loaded and such. 78.03 was a lot more liberal about that with WoW
Interesting enough there's an Nvidia direct access utility - which allows you to directly configure display settings without using the buttons on the physical display.
Under the SLI menu now there's a Select Display option. not sure what that does yet but think it's time for me to hook up my second monitor to try things out....
SLI still required an initial reboot with these, not sure if it's toggleable without a reboot now though.
Still trying out other things though...but it's starting to look very...meh so far.

Could you describe this please?

BF2 on a 6800gt SLI with the 81.26 drivers - water in BF2 would distort and flicker when 2xaa is on at 1920x1200 res.

fps seem same as previous drivers, bf2 the shadows are all over the place, its like they aren't joined to anything they keep movin all over the place and the player shadows are gone.

Strange if they have a build date after that bug was fixed.
I can never notice the damn shimmer anyway.
Do you need to reboot to enable SLI with these ones?

Yes for SLI must be reboot. :(

Shimmer is in the eye of the beholder. And it depends on what it's on, too.
Raising the LOD Bias just a tiny bit can reduce or eliminate shimmer for many.
