HUNDREDS of tons of British food aid shipped to America for starving Hurricane Katrina survivors is to be burned.

US red tape is stopping it from reaching hungry evacuees.

Instead tons of the badly needed Nato ration packs, the same as those eaten by British troops in Iraq, has been condemned as unfit for human consumption.

I've heard nothing about this yet from any real news source, so I would be careful about not putting too much faith into a tabloid.

Yeah, there is crazy testing on your beef, everyones scared of mad cow over here, probably was the problem.

Besides that, army rations are :barf: better off eating your shoe or something. ;)

lol well theyre better than starving....

but i agree, i dont see why they would incinerate the food for no reason. the only reason they would do something so drastic would be disease/contamination/etc.

also, dont forget this is the british news site saying this. if there was a lot of truth in it, the liberal media would have a field day with it.

Seriously, the way some people make it out is that we're bloodthirsty assholes that just want the black people to ROT and we're so freakin full of ourselves and redundant we're turning away help with a big middle finger.
