View Full Version : Dell 3K and FX 5200 PCI card
I finally after a few hours today got the Dell 3K to recognize the new Geforce Fx 5200 pci slot card. I had to switch slots before it would accept it though. But heres the thing no matter how many times I disable the Intel onboard graphics, delete the drivers, run driver cleaner in safe mode when I reboot the motherboard insists on reinstalling the Intel graphics drivers and device. The computer is currently running and using the new card so is there any problem with both of them being there?
There isn't any yellow exclamation mark on either of them. The computer boots and runs ok. Should I just leave well enough alone?

Id say if its working fine, leave it. I doubt it will hurt anything. If you do run into graphics related problems though, make sure to look there first. Im sure theres some way to get rid of it, but its probably too much of a pain to do unless its necessary.
