Hi

I just upgraded to Det. 42.01 and found a new option (compared to the older drivers I used before). It is the first menu under the "nView menu" called "Adjustment of performance" (it is probably called something else, but that was the direct translation from Danish). In the setting you can select whether you want adjust it towards "programs" or "aggressive/performance".

I have benchmarked it a found a huge difference in the performance, and wondered which option is the most fair setting when benchmarking against other graphiccards?

Is it the default setting (in the middle) or the "program" oriented setting?

Thanks in advance

If you wanted to compare your system to, say, a rig benched by MaximumPC magazine, you would have to max all the details, set the slider to application, and set the res and aa and af accordingly. Everyone else cheats, using minimum detail, aggressive, and so on.
