Hey guys,
I've been using an ati card for awhile but i got a 7800GTX now (i just get whatever is better, not really a fanboy for either companies). Got a question though, how the heck do you OC this thing? I have NiBiTor which shows the 3d, thrtl, and 2d clocks, which are all different. I have a log of the clocks/temps with rivatuner too and it says my core goes up to 490 at times while playing WoW. So really, how do I OC this thing? I could simply change the 3d core which is default of 450 to 490 but im afraid it may throttle up to 530 at times which is a scary thought to me. Thanks

The 7800 GTX does not have only one clock speed, but for your purposes the only thing you'll have to worry about is the 450 base number. It is perfectly fine for it to shoot up to 530 as long as your card can handle the overclock to 490. Just change the 3D clocks to your desired overclock and check for artifacts like usual. ;)
