Sharing the root of a drive

I want to share the entire hard drive of my two computer to each other. They are on a network connected to a router. Im using windows XP and I just want to go into a network drive and pull files and stuff off. Anyone can point me to a guide, or just tell me that would be nice. Thanks

Disable "Simple file Sharing" in Folder options
Than simply share the drive.
