I have a pair eVGA 7800GTXs and they came w/ a nice big ole ViVo dongle. I also have a cable box w/ s-video out - and it just so happens that my ViVo dongle had s-video in. What I am looking for is software that, if I attach the s-video from my cable box to the dongle and the audio from my cable box to my soundcard line-in, I can watch TV in a window on my PC.
Bonus points:
My cable box has a serial port which I have used in the past to change channels (via Tivo) - If anyone knows of a windows xp program that will not only allow me to watch tv, but also change channels on my cable box via a serial connection that would be great!
By the way - I've already installed the WDM VIVO drivers from nvidia. Now I just need software to utilize the devices they drive.
