and I'm loving it. Not only is it lighter than my stock Leadtek cooler, but it's also quieter and cools better. Took about 30 minutes to install. (cleaned up the card first, of course) So far temps are good.

Stock- Idle 55 Load 75 ambient 40

Zalman- Idle 50 Load 63 ambient 33

My cpu temps are also better. Idle and load dropped by 3 degrees. This is all at stock speeds, by the way. I might try overclocking later on when everything settles. Max oc I could get with stock was 380/1050. thought i'd share. :)

I've been very pleased with mine. Plus it looks way better than the stock cooler. My results were similar. 62-63c load temps. :)

There is a huge thread over at [H]ardforum about the Zalman VF-700. [ [H]ardforum Zalman Discussion (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=923185&page=1&pp=20) ]

From reading most of the opinions, this seem to be the best air graphic card cooler available at the moment. Good stuff.

Using the stock Leadtek cooler, I couldnt overclock past 380/1050. With this Zalman, I can hit 400/1100 (ultra speeds) without any problems so far. Temps are about the same within 1-2 degrees.

I bought the ALCU version to replace the stock cooling on my BFG6800GT(Copper 2 led version).

I cant recommend this cooler enough. Main reason for the swap for me was because the stock cooler was so damn loud. Even plugged straight into my MB header(12v) Zalman is almost silent.

Stock Idle: Stock Load:
Core: 62C Core: 74-78C
Ambient: 42C Ambient: 52C

VF700 Idle: VF700 Load:
Core: 51C Core: 59C
Ambient: 35C Ambient: 41C

Not to shabby:)

I just ordered one for myself and hope to have it this week. :)

I got the blue led version since it matches my setup perfect.

I'll post some pics/temps once I get it installed & spinning. :p
